meaningful saturday afternoon...

poor little kittens...

yesterday was a different saturday than the normal saturday where by i just go bowling and den mayb mahjong session at night. there wasn't any kahki available. slacked at hm in the morning and went bowling with ian in the afternoon. he had training so i just went bowling. came back with uncle denny and saw dawn at the void deck. for those who dunno who's dawn, let me introduce. dawn is my neighbour who stays on the 14th floor. (: she was stranded with 2 cute little kittens. the kittens were orangey brown in colour, pardon my color blindness. their eyes is like different from the others. the look in their eyes makes one unable to chuck them aside and walk off. so she was like thinking of how she should handle the situation. alright here's the background story of the kittens....

her sister found the kittens near her school situated at bt timah area. the kittens were like being abused by some cruel ppl and the mother had an accident according to her. so the sis brought the kittens home and the father was super angry cos they already had a dog at home. so he doesn't allow her to enter the house with the kitten. dawn who was going out at the time, had no choice but to help the sis settle the kittens somewhere so that the sis is able to go home.

so ian and i helped her with the kittens. we went around our block, looking for kind hearted family that will be able to take good care of them. we seen lots of different ppl. but most of them was like, 'so cutee... but... i already had one' or 'my parents dun allow' and the worst of all, 'my sis is allergic to cats!' omgg!! wad an excuse la. i can't stand those ppl that say that they really want the kitten but the parents dun allow all that. can't u just tell me u can't take it instead of giving us false hope?!! after like 3 hrs of search, we found this girl that stays at 470, just beside our block. she was like so excited with the kittens and tell us everything about how much she and her sis like about the kittens. louis vuitton handbags she even called the fren to ask if she's interested to get one. in the end, she told us that she's only able to adopt 1. so we were like persuading her until she allows them to stay for the day. we felt the relieve. so ian went home, dawn and i were suppose to go for dinner before we head home. who knows... the girl called and say she cannot keep the cats! say wad the father angry all that.. haiz.. waste our time squatting outside her house persuading her for like hrs. arRrrGggg.. oh ya, i didn't know there was a 'temple' at 470 man. the top floor corner unit. omg.. they are having some asking god event der.

and the story goes on... the 2 of us are stranded with the cats once again. we went to the potential pet shop at chinese garden mrt station. and it's a wasted trip, cos it's a beauty salon for pets!!! and they dun take in pets. so she called her sis and ask if there were any other pet shops around the area. we came back to our place the coffee shop area where there's a stall that sells cat food. but... it's a disappointed trip once again. it only sells food and it's closed. we were at our wits end so we went around asking at that block again. but no one seems interested. the block was like filled with those overseas workers and the house seem dirty lo. a scary place. den i suggested to visit qianer's place, cos she had a dog before and if she wants the kitten ornot. oh ya, the worst thing is that my phone ran out of batt!!! reached her house and she's not at hm. so i approached the mum, she recognises me. (: she 'scolded' me la. nv come with 2 oranges but 2 kittens. haha. damn funny. i promised her that i'll pay her a visit today. haha. auntie suggested that we approach the unit 30 cos they had a cat at hm. we went and there's no adult at home. the 2 kids were like interested so they called the dad. and the dad accepted the kittens without hesitation. their grandpa was at hm but he's like unfriendly la. we didn't care him cos he's like no say. we pass the kitten over and pray for them. hoping that they'll have a good life in that family.

finally we can have our dinner. went mac and had fillet-o-fish. had a chat till like 1030 and we went home.................
